lead by Moududul Alam then a student of Fine Arts Department of Chittagong
University.
The President & Secretary of The First Executive Committee of CPS was Mrinal Sorkar & Moududul Alam respectively.
The Society arranged First National Photo Contest on November 11, 1983.
The Society arranged Oversees Bangladeshi Photographers Show in New Work, USA in 1987. The Society arranged Two International Photography Contest In 1991 and 2003, This are the First International Photography Contest in the Photography History of Bangladesh.
In 2003 CPS own honored four star rating for there International Photo Contest catalog.
CPS gave Ekushey Padak to Mr. M A Beg, Mr. Golam Kashem Daddy & Mr. Rashid Talukdar for extraordinary contribution for Photography.
